In His Favour!

Well, this happened when Premi (my wife) went to Bangalore for a short vacation.
So, before i get to bed, i have to spend time with my Maker, and therefore, would sit in my balcony to talk with Him... The whole experience is awesome, where the season was just changing, from winter to summer, there's a cool breeze flowing, the airport is at a distance, and i can see flights taking off and arriving, and that indeed is a blessing- meaning, How watchful/ attentive is God, or has He set His angels to see over any mishap over every flight that lands and takes off... I keep thanking Him for that!
However, halfway through my prayer, i started with the complaint list thinking 'why some of my friends were so blessed and why not me?' 'Why His favour were on some- so much, and on me- it was available, only at times!!!?' and as the list of things that happened to my so called 'unfair life' increased- "Psssst, psssst", a silent whisper from behind my ears... and i knew it, i had some do some answering to Him. I replied with a smile, "Yes, my dear Holy Spirit- ippol enethaaa (meaning, what now?)" and he said, "eda, that thing you said about my favour not being on you always; had some clearing to do", I was like, " OK, what is it??" and then He tells me, "Hold your palm upside down, and keep it likewise, dont move it, keep it stationary. Now take your other hand and keep it exactly under the hand on top". Imagine this happening at 12.30 AM, and i am glad i live on the 8th floor, and no one is awake at that time, to watch me do something like a dance step with my hands!!! I am like, "Ok, i am listening, go on". The Holy Spirit continued saying, "Move your hand (the one below) , to the left and to the right and in any direction you want to...", and when i do that, He adds, " the hand on top is my favour on you, always available at the right place, in the right time. The hand below, is You, who walks away from my favour, who moves left and right from my favour, who tries to walk ahead of my favour, and at times, slows down, and staggers from my favor..." My eyes are closed, and i am prayerfully learning from an illustration the Holy Spirit teaches me, when he ends by saying, "Eda mone, my favour is always there. Be right under it, and you will always feel it! Don't move to the left or right, or there is no need to do things on your own, and slack behind- I am in time!!!"

WOOOW, what a word... many a times, we look at people around us, we look at instances around us, and try to do things, that is not according to His will, and we don't find Him there, which should not be a surprise! However, one of my friends' told me a learning instance from His life, "Shaji, if you are not under the perfect will of God, you are just wasting your time". And that's what i learnt that night/ morning, which makes me pray everyday, "Lord, let me be in Your perfect will, everyday, every second". Things will come to you, when you are in His favour!! People, learn to be in His will, and as long as you don't sway, His favor will be always, always there- to stay!! (cheezy trying to end it with a rhyme scheme, but anyways, continue having a nice day...
